The butterfly, which is a symbol of symmetrical forms, implies an air of mystery. They are tragic but suggest a growth or leap.
As the patterns of their wings grow unpredictably by adapting to the environment, I paint it with the uncontrollable texture which the reaction of pigment and oil creates. individual paintings.

The linearly symmetrical shape of butterflies evokes a mysterious image. Sometimes it is tragic, and at the same time it is mysterious, suggesting growth and leaps forward. Butterfly wings grow into unique patterns as they adapt to their environment. And the color and shape of the pattern varies depending on the type of butterfly.
This work is based on the unexpected shapes and colors created by the accidental mixture of oil, glass and oil paint. And I hope that the striped pattern and the reflection of the shattered glass will give the work a poetic meaning.
